Come see a great work of art as created by Nature herself. The Kurobe Gorge is a deep V-shaped ravine with a depth between the river and mountains that ranges from 1500 to 2000 meters. For a truly inspirational journey, try taking the train along the Kurobe Gorge railroad that runs through the Gorge and its beautiful untouched forests and steep cliffs.

During the fall, the Kurobe Gorge becomes adorned with vivid color. The emerald green of the Kurobe River contrasts with the reds and yellows of the autumn leaves to create a breathtaking contrast.

This bridge spans the steepest valley along the railway. The railway along this area passes through several virgin forests, and it is known for the rich, green scent of the trees.
